Welcome to the story of MD Plast, a two-decade journey through innovation in the Masterbatch, BIOcompound and plastic compounding industry. Discover how, from our beginning in 2000 as a Masterbatch distributor, we have grown to become a leading manufacturer of colors and black masterbatches. From our recent international expansion in 2023 to the opening of a third plant in 2024, we invite you to learn about our history and our mission to lead the industry towards sustainable and cutting-edge solutions.
The company was founded in 2000 and it mainly deals with the marketing of masterbatches of a well-known international brand
Given the exponential growth of the brand in Italy, the company decides to start its own production of colored Masterbatch
After a few years of experience in the production sector, the company decided to expand its portfolio by introducing the production of black Masterbatch, which is still one of the flagships products of MD Plast.
In 2012, driven by the desire to offer to its customers a complete range of products, useful for all production applications, the MD Plast started the production of white Masterbatch
After several years of investment in research and development, and thanks to our sensitivity to the environment, MD Plast launched its own TUV certified BIOdegradable compound on the market. A second dedicated production plant was therefore opened.
Thanks to strong growth in both domestic and international markets, the company has decided to fully invest in building a highly qualified international team. Today, the company is able to provide comprehensive assistance and support to clients in Italian, English, French, German, and Spanish.
The company continues to strengthen its position in both the Italian and international markets. Therefore, in 2024, a new production facility was opened with the aim of increasing manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demand. The high production capacity of our machinery, the exclusivity of our products in the market, and the rising awareness of the importance of the circular economy and material regeneration have led to a continuously increasing demand for black masterbatch, prompting the company to consistently invest in increasingly larger and higher-performing machinery.
